Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Lead Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood development and education, with a focus on Montessori principles and early intervention strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social growth of children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Utilize behavior management techniques to encourage positive interactions among students
- Incorporate physical education activities to promote health and wellness
- Educate students in math, literacy, and other core subjects
- Collaborate with parents to support each child's individual needs
- Supervise and mentor assistant teachers
Requirements:
- Certification in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Experience in preschool or toddler care settings
- Proficiency in childhood development principles
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Knowledge of effective teaching strategies for diverse learners
