Aerospace Contacts was founded in 1999 to provide high quality, short lead-time contacts and other precision machined components for the aerospace, medical device, military and defense, and oil and gas industries. We are a machine shop focused on Swiss screw machining and multi-axis lathe machining. We are seeking a Sales Engineer/Customer Service Representative to join our company on a full-time basis. JOB TITLE: Sales Engineer/Customer Service Representative
DEPARTMENT: Administration

POSITION: Full Time
SALARY RANGE: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
SUMMARY OF JOB DUTIES:
- Manage assigned customers’ satisfaction including pricing, delivery, quality and responsiveness.
- Build strong working relationships with key customer accounts.
- Create cost estimates and provide quotes on customer requirements in a timely manner.
- Report on assigned customers’ needs and problems including delivery and quality.
- Partner with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Sales personnel to provide customer support.
- Investigate and qualify sales leads and support new product development.
- Data entry using MS Office, company Intranet, Quote database, E2 ERP, etc.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure that assigned customers have assistance as needed.
- Answer calls/emails from customers and provide necessary information.
- Liaison between customer, Engineering, Sales, Production, Quality and Planning to provide necessary services.
- Read and interpret customer drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Develop and maintain well-coordinated relationships with assigned customers.
- Provide quotes on new and existing products.
- Determine proper manufacturing process and lead times with planning and production.
- Investigate new sales leads and support new product development.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. degree in Engineering
- 0-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Courteous manner with customers, vendors and employees
- Proficient in MS Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Flexible in work assignments, able to multi-task, able to meet deadlines
- Team player
