Job Summary:
The Human Resources (HR) Manager will lead and direct the routine functions of the Human Resources (HR) department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. The HR Manager is responsible for ensuring the HR department's operations align with the strategic goals of the organization, while promoting a positive work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and making hiring decisions.
- Collaborate with department managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Employee Relations:
- Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints and grievances and recommend solutions.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs and create or coordinate learning and development programs for employees.
- Implement performance management systems and ensure regular performance appraisals are conducted.
- Promote continuous improvement and career development opportunities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs.
- Conduct regular salary surveys to ensure competitive compensation practices.
- Manage employee benefits enrollment and address related inquiries.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain and update employee records as required by law.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures.
HR Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Analyze HR metrics and data to inform strategic decisions.
- Participate in organizational planning and development initiatives.
Health and Safety:
- Promote workplace safety and wellness programs.
- Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
- Address workplace health and safety concerns promptly.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
