We are looking to hire someone fluent in both Spanish and English (speaking and writing) for the position of New Patient Coordinator in a Call Center that currently services 20 different Medical Clinics. This is a part-time position that could be full-time later if this is something you want or it can stay part-time.
This job allows you to work from home after the training period. However we only consider people who live in between Austin, San Marcos, and San Antonio and we prefer San Marcos, Wimberley, or Dripping Springs areas because the training period requires a period where you are with our supervisor for training several days per week for 3 to 4 weeks in Wimberley. Pay while training is $20 per hour. Once you are able to handle calls, starting pay as an employee is $25 per hour.
You would be speaking with and booking new patients who call in or write in (no cold calling) and booking appointments for new patients. You will need to learn many details and a lot of information about each clinic we service, so your ability to learn quickly is vital. Our company provides call center services to a number of medical clinics (we are not a medical clinic ourselves).
Being literate, fluent in both English and Spanish, being helpful and understanding, and relaying correct information are important aspects of the job. Also important are basic computer and typing skills, excellent phone skills and communication skills, and some persuasiveness in getting people to go ahead and book. Attributes we are looking for are: patience, empathy, that you are comfortable and professional talking on the phone, general computer skills, ability to learn quickly, hard-working and trustworthiness.
Once you are trained (approx 4 weeks), the job can be performed at your own home in a quiet, distraction-free environment (no young children or loud noises such as dogs that bark, etc. as some of these calls can be quite long). We provide all needed equipment.
We will train you on the many details of the job and the clinics we service. Some of which can be done at your own home but much of it will need to be done working with other Call Center personnel (so it would involve some initial traveling for the in-person training). Several of us live in Wimberley, but nearby cities/towns are also acceptable as long as you are willing to travel for training and an occasional day working with another Call Center personnel. Bonuses and Pay raises are offered for good performance and longevity.
We are looking for a long-term employee as the investment in training is significant.
