Job Overview
The Facilities Technician will be responsible for executing work orders across various retail sites in Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan. This position requires versatility in carpentry and commercial construction, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for service.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to various job sites to complete work orders assigned.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely and efficient completion of work orders.
- Conduct inspections and assessments of job sites to determine necessary repairs and improvements
- Performs a wide range of construction tasks, including but not limited to framing, drywall, doors, door hardware, trim, and concrete.
- Awareness of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Uses various hand and power tools to securely build assigned projects.
- Ensures the accuracy of work by checking completed projects with tools such as levels, surveying equipment, or framing squares; corrects problems as needed.
- Able to clearly explain steps, provide directions, and answer questions about the construction processes to employees and subcontractors.
- Adheres to local building and safety codes and guidelines.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- High school diploma
- Ability to understand directions and read blueprints.
- Ability to solve mathematical problems quickly and accurately.
- Ability to properly care for and use tools of the trade.
- Ability to assess the quality of materials.
- Thorough understanding of carpentry principles and methods.

- Dependable and strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
- Successful completion of vocational school or technical college or apprenticeship program.
- 3 years of related job experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour
