Network Admin/Engineer

Responsibilities & Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Solve select government agencies communications issues in mobile, fixed, tactical, on the ground, fixed wing, rotary wing, vehicles, and UAV environments
- Evaluate, design and implement voice, video, radio-frequency, and/or data communications networks to support traditional and nontraditional platforms? We are looking for the right person to provide cutting edge solutions using emerging technologies and migrating legacy systems into the future.
- Provide all facets of Network engineering expertise to support current and future requirements within requisite Enterprise and Tactical Networks.
- Plan for, design, develop, test, integrate, and monitor and analyze network services across all networks for multiple agencies.
- Research new networking technologies and determine which are suitable for future migrations onto the Enterprise.
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 engineering support for all Networks, including OSI Layer 2 hardware and process management, architecture, design, configuration.
- Plans network layouts and configures systems to user environments.
- Analyzes network topologies and traffic and capacity requirements.
Here's What You'll Need:
- Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI or the ability to acquire Top Secret/SCI
- Current DODD 8140/8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) required (such as CCNA Security, Security+ CE, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP)
- Experience developing IT checklists, SOPs, guides, etc.
- Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to travel up to 10%
Minimum Experience:
- At least 5years of IT Server experience inclusive of the following minimum specific experience:
- 2 years of experience managing MS Windows servers and Linux environments
- 2 years of experience managing ADCS environments
- 2 years of experience Firewalls and ACL services
- CCNA certified
Preferred:
· Masters Degree
