Our client is a well-known creative marketing agency. They are building out their NYC operations in a new mid-town office and looking to grow their admin team with a new role as a Front Desk Coordinator. Our client is seeking a professional and personable candidate to manage their front office operations and simultaneously offer administrative assistance to the Office Manager and two Vice President-level executives.
$22/hr, $55,000 – $65,000 DOE
The Front Desk Coordinator will not only oversee the front desk but will also be responsible for providing exceptional service in a polished and friendly manner. Additional Front Desk Coordinator responsibilities would include providing comprehensive support in administrative tasks, ensuring smooth operations at the front office, and fostering a welcoming and efficient environment for all visitors and staff. This role will help keep the office tidy, organized, and order supplies. This position will also help with helping plan fun office outings and parties.
- Front desk reception coverage: greeting all guests and directing phone calls
- Maintaining a clean and visually appealing reception area
- Support for Office Manager and VP’s: light travel arrangements, expense reporting, and presentation preparation
- Occasional office event planning – the team has quarterly office happy hours that you would help to coordinate
- 2+ years of Administrative Assistant/Receptionist experience – agency experience is preferred
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is required
