SUMMARY – Utilizing mechanical capabilities to perform maintenance on Commercial/Industrial boilers in the NYC/Long Island area.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Perform routine maintenance on boiler equipment and systems
Ø Maintain low pressure boilers, high boilers, power boilers, steam boilers, or hot water heating systems.
Ø Replace defective valves, filters, or steam gauges.
Ø Monitor boiler systems to ensure it is operating safely and properly; facilitate periodic cleaning.
Ø Address any problems with boiler systems and notifiy maintenance when needed.
Ø Maintain neat and professional demeanor to guarantee an excellent customer service experience
Ø Contact supervisor concerning potentially dangerous equipment or safety violations.
Ø OSHA 30, F-60 & G-60 is required
Ø Performs other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ø 3+ years experience in Boiler Maintenance, Combustion, basic boiler circuits (not PLC controlled),
Ø Technical/vocational school training and experience working with HVAC or industrial boilers.
Ø Extensive knowledge of industrial boiler operations and maintenance.
Ø Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ø Excellent mechanical skills
Ø Ability to follow OSHA rules as to safety procedures and processes.
Ø Stand-by (weekend / holiday) required on rotation.
Ø Company will provide “specialty tools” as permitted, must have own hand tools.

Pay: $36.00 - $45.00 per hour
