Job Skills/Knowledge:
Knowledge of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective security operations for the protection of people and property
Knowledge of administrative systems such as word processing, managing files and records and other office procedures and terminology
Tasks:
Maintain business-like professional manner, and a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance
Patrol area of assignment; reporting safety hazards, deficiencies, and irregularities to the On-Duty Supervisor
Assist complainants in determining if a criminal act has occurred and what actions should be taken
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Must have a current Texas Driver’s License
Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation
Must be able to work a computer and have basic computer skills
Drug-free
Ability to work on a team
Must possess strong communication skills, both verbal & written
Must be responsible and have a professional attitude
Bi-lingual is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus
Level II or Level III Certifications are a plus
