Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual machining equipment (lathes/milling).
- Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine machining requirements.
- Perform precision machining operations to produce parts within tight tolerances.
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, adjusting as necessary.
- Maintain and troubleshoot machining equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications:
- 6 years' experience.
- Proven experience as a Manual Machinist in a machine shop environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Strong knowledge of manual machining equipment and techniques.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to quality and safety.
- Familiar with Horizontal Boring Mill and Vertical Turning Lathe.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday (6 am-2:30 pm)
