Chicago Behavioral Clinic, nestled in the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago, is seeking a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our private practice. We provide psychological assessment, individual psychotherapy, and group therapy, predominantly on an outpatient basis. Our areas of specialty include depression, anxiety, life transitions, career and vocational concerns, chronic pain, adjustment to chronic medical illness, women’s health, insomnia, weight management, and addressing multicultural/diversity issues.
Key Qualifications:
- Must hold an LCSW and be licensed in the state of Illinois.
- Proven experience in working with adults and couples.
- Proficient in various psychotherapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based approaches.
Preferred Experience:
- Background in health psychology, or experience working with individuals with chronic medical illnesses, although this is not a mandatory requirement.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality individual therapy primarily via telehealth.
- Opportunities to engage in group therapy are available and can be explored based on interest.
- The role offers part-time hours initially with the possibility to transition to full-time depending on practice needs and candidate preference.
