The General Manager will collaborate closely with Regional Business Leads to drive business growth and uphold the brand's standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership:
· Provide strategic direction and guidance to Regional Business Leads, Corporate Training Teams, and restaurant teams to ensure operational efficiency and excellence.
· Drive results for all key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales, profitability, Guest satisfaction, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
· Conduct regular assessments of restaurant operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing effective solutions.
· Ensure consistency in food quality, service standards, and overall guest experience across all locations within the region.
Financial Management:
· Manages the restaurant's budget, including setting sales targets, controlling costs, and ensuring profitability.
· Focus on driving revenue growth and cost optimization through Restaurant Excellence, and monitor, maintain or course correct the performance of the unit.
· Review financial reports and performance metrics to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
· Implement strategies to maximize profitability, through cost control measures, and revenue enhancement initiatives.
Team Development and Training:
· Hiring, recruiting, and developing high-performance teams
· Monitor and strategize People Planning weekly, to identify key man risk and triage plans for continuity of performance at the Unit Level
· Ensures all staff members are properly trained for Operational Excellence food safety procedures, Halal Standards, and Made with Love Guest Service
· Foster a positive work environment characterized by teamwork, collaboration, and a strong commitment to Halal Shack Restaurant Excellence.
· Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance evaluations to support professional growth and career advancement.
Guest Satisfaction and Brand Loyalty:
· Ensures excellent Guest Service by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and hospitality.
· Monitor Guest and feedback, addressing any concerns or issues raised in a timely and proactive manner.
· Ensure Halal Shack tools, strategies, and programs are executed to drive Guest engagement, retention, and loyalty.
· Resolving customer complaints and ensuring customer satisfaction are also key responsibilities.
Compliance and Risk Management:
· Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, health and safety standards, and brand standard requirements across all restaurant locations.
· Implement policies and procedures to mitigate operational risks and maintain a safe and secure environment for employees and guests.
· Conduct regular audits to assess compliance levels and address any non-compliance issues promptly.
The Key Operator/ GM will be solely responsible for developing a strong staff to drive sales, service and leadership needs of the business. The key operator should have a sense of ownership and pride in their operation, and lead with a people first mentality.
Job Qualifications
- Experience: 3 years in restaurant general management preferred
- Previous culinary experience with food production, recipe adherence, HAACP and cooking preferred
- Previous experience with managing labor and food cost
- Previous supervisory experience leading a team in a fast-paced environment
- Serve Safe Certification

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
