About the Position: A Airport Security Agent ensures the security and safety of our terminal concourses. As an Exit Lane Monitor, you will play a critical role in maintaining the sterile environment of the airport's secure areas by preventing unauthorized access through exit lanes.
Work Schedule:Staffing required from the opening of the TSA passenger security checkpoint until the last arriving flight (approximately a 24/7 Operation).

Essential Job Functions
- Ensure only authorized individuals gain unescorted access to the secured area.
- Deny entry to individuals whose access authority has been withdrawn.
- Examine identification credentials for individuals operating vehicles or equipment seeking access to the secured area.
- Verify identification credentials against the Authority’s stop list and deny access to those listed.
- Conduct secondary badge authentication for approved individuals entering the secured area.
- Perform continuous and random vehicle or equipment inspections.
- Document and retain records of vehicle or equipment inspections for up to 60 days.
- Monitor Gate 55 to ensure it is operational and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Ensure Gate 55 is properly secured after use and prevent “piggybacking” (unauthorized access).
- Enforce the Authority’s Rules and Regulations regarding airside access.
- Report any security violations or suspicious activities to the Airport Communications Center.
Minimum Education, Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Commitment to maintaining a sterile environment in terminal concourses 24/7.
- Professional, qualified, and trained to handle terminal building exit lanes diligently.
- Immediate alerting of unauthorized access to the Airport’s Communications Center.
- Reporting any suspicious activities while managing access at the exit lane.
- No use of personal distractions (phones, tablets, etc.) while on duty.
- Grant access through the exit lane to authorized personnel during emergencies.
- Prevent unauthorized personnel from entering the concourse/sterile area.
- Maintain proper documentation and certification of training for 360 days.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) badge, requiring a 10-year Criminal Records History Check and Security Threat Assessment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and late nights, based on flight schedules.
