Performs Housekeeping services and sanitation tasks on a daily and project basis. Assumes responsibility for general cleaning in all areas of the hospital. Completes maintenance work request forms as required for patient room items (bed, lights, tvs, blinds, chairs, bedside stand, tables, toilets, and sink). Uses supplies and equipment in a safe manner. Actively participates in continuous Quality Improvement. Identifies health and safety concerns and unsafe work practices within the workplace. Is involved in developing safe work practices and is held accountable for the day to day efforts of ensuring a safe workplace by following safe work practices.
