DSD Area Manager – Duluth, MN
Cold Front Distribution, a growing Frozen Food Distribution company is expanding to the area and seeking a highly motivated person to join our team! We are currently looking for an Area Manager for the Duluth, MN area.
Job Requirements
· DSD experience is required.
· Hire, Train and oversee the development of all Route Sales Representatives and Merchandisers.
· Responsible for the safety, financial, and customer satisfaction success in the area.
· Successfully sell our portfolio of brands to all Out-of-House (OOH) customers and Independent Grocery Accounts.
· Maintain a valid Driver’s License, meeting all DOT drug and alcohol and medical certification requirements.
· Stay current on all DOT requirements, policies and procedures and ensure compliance with all administrative record keeping related to such.
· Conduct equipment locations and sales analysis to identify opportunities to achieve distribution targets and improve product placement.
· Develop and maintain professional relationships with all key personnel at all accounts including OOH accounts regardless of size.
· Create, present and support business analysis and business reviews.
· Manage schematics and Price Books for each account.
· Secure new authorizations.
· Maintain strong relationships with Sub-Distributor network. Communicate consistently and effectively regarding pricing, products, freezers, sales opportunities, training, and execution.
· Ensure Route Sales Representatives and Field Specialists are successful in those positions. Provide training, information, and ongoing support to facilitate company business objectives.
· Manage staff and scheduling for positions under focus of control.
· Ensure security and integrity of freezers throughout our market.
· Serve as a backup for route sales and distribute and service product to meet business and staffing needs.
· Respond to changing priorities and revise operational plans and objectives as needs require.
· Assist with the development of strategic objectives. Manage and evaluate operational and strategic objectives and communicate progress and concerns to President and Officers of the Company in a timely manner.
· Identify problems and work proactively to resolve them while being able to distinguish those that require consultation with the President and Officers of the Company.
· Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Benefits
· $68,000 - $72,000 DOE annually paid on a bi – weekly basis.
· Plus 10% annual bonus potential
