The District Sales Manager is responsible for leading marketing initiatives and selling activities for the entire nVent Electrical & Fastening Solutions (EFS) suite of product lines in Dallas TX, OK, NM, and AR area to our channel partners. This position will focus on closely leading our agents to increase mindshare and drive collaborative growth. The District Sales Manager will closely partner and collaborate across dedicated USA sales teams to achieve sales targets.
Achieve sales goals for targeted CADDY, ERICO, ILSCO, GARDNER BENDER, SPERRY INSTRUMENTS, BERGEN, BRISCON, SSI, ERIFLEX and CALTREM brands in implementing sales plans consistent with the national strategic direction.
Lead distributor relationships and performance. Take appropriate action to improve our distributor channels including growing sales through adding distribution, conducting quarterly distribution assessments, and further penetration of existing channels.
Coordinate and lead the cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, operations, and finance) required to achieve annual financial objectives. Monitor distributor orders/shipments/POS with AOP and initiate corrective actions as necessary.
Partner with the channel marketing team in the development of promotional and marketing programs that will drive market share growth throughout the assigned territory.
Actively lead sales reps/agents and drive sales activity that aligns the goals with territory sales strategy.
Partner closely with the business development sales team and key accounts sales team to determine penetration strategies and coordinate relationships between targeted end users, channel partners, and nVent.
Participate in conferences, expos, lunch-and-learns, and other industry events.
Actively communicate competitive feedback and market dynamics internally to help further improve solutions and strategies.
