What You’ll Do
Reporting to the Accounting Manager, our Sr. Accountants ensure accurate financial management, adherence to compliance, and provide strategic planning that supports the company’s growth and stability.
- Timely and accurate preparation of financial statements for monthly close
- Analyze P&L accounts to ensure they are recorded appropriately and resolve discrepancies on a monthly basis
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
- Assist with financial and tax audits
- Assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
- Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
- Assist in financial reporting requirements
What You’ll Need
- 3-5 years years of large enterprise software company experience (PE-backed firms a plus)
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting, Finance, Or Information Systems
- Strong understanding of accounting theory
- 3-5 years accounting/finance experience; CPA a plus, but not required
- Experience in SaaS accounting/software industry preferred
- Professional experience with MS Office and Excel (pivot tables and V-Lookups) is required, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, OpenAir preferred
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines
- Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives
- Proven accountability and excellent interpersonal skills; the confidence to be an honest advocate who is willing to speak up when needed
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to get to the root cause of internal and external problems; ability to recommend resolutions
- Must respond to client requests with empathy, compassion, strategic advisement, and rapidity
- Desire to work with a collaborative global team with offices in Philadelphia, Atlanta, Frankfurt, Oxford, UK, Bunnik, and Hyderabad
