The Truck Sales Representative is responsible for promoting and selling International & Battle Motors trucks to individual and commercial clients. This role requires a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of truck specifications and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities through leads, referrals, and direct marketing efforts.
- Conduct detailed needs assessments for potential customers to recommend appropriate truck models and configurations.
- Provide comprehensive product demonstrations and detailed explanations of features and benefits.
- Negotiate sales agreements and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the finance department to ensure smooth transactions.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
- Attend trade shows, networking events, and training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Post-Sale Support: Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven experience in sales, preferably in the automotive or trucking industry.
- Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of truck features, specifications, and applications.
- Skills: Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Customer Focus: Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Motivation: Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
- Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Education
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
