Salary: Starting at $64,000 + Commensurate with experience.
Under the supervision of the Chief Academic Officer (CAO) the MTSS Specialist: will lead and supervise the development, implementation, assessment, continuous enhancement, and efficient management of the components within the district's MTSS program. The MTSS Specialist promotes a holistic approach to student development and learning, incorporating a tiered framework that fosters collaboration and utilizes data to address each student's academic, behavioral, engagement, social-emotional, health, physical education, wellness, and cultural and linguistic needs.
Duties:

developing fluency in district structures, processes/ procedures necessary to support schools in their use and sustainability of effective MTSS systems.

Develop and implement differentiated plans to support staff readiness to implement effective interventions and to address the needs of the school.

Monitors and prompts review of school level implementation and identification of district support provided to schools.

Offer guidance and direction to ensure that research based MTSS strategies, interventions, and systems are implemented effectively to enhance student success.

Facilitate regular analysis of district data (district capacity data, scalability of the effective innovation across schools, fidelity data, student outcome data) to identify successes, challenges, contributing factors, and a plan to address needs.

Meet with MTSS Committees at each site to provide support for intervention implementation.

Utilize research and evidence-based approaches to strengthen systems, policies, and practices aligned with a comprehensive whole child/learner model. This includes implementing a district-wide professional development program to ensure equitable access to academic, socio-emotional, and support programs and services for all students.

Experience in successful use of MTSS at the district level.

Ability to demonstrate effective coaching practices (e.g., modeling, observation, feedback).

Successful experience with data analysis and use.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Education, Master's Degree Preferred

Three (3) years or more of teaching experience

At least 2 years of school and/or district administrative experience
