Qualifications:
Associate’s Degree or equivalent medical experience preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of Medical Billing Experience in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, payment application and billing software.
- Working knowledge of data analysis.
- Ability to prepare business correspondence with accuracy.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Compliance with HIPPA standards and requirements
Essential Functions
Perform various billing, payment application and reconciliation tasks
- Submit claims via the PROMISe Pennsylvania state billing system
- Prepare, review, analyze, follow-up on aged AR balances including review of unapplied payments.
- Manage bank transaction data
- Assist team with weekly cash forecasting
- Knowledge and understanding of all services and billing requirements the company provides.
- Perform internal audit of billing process on a quarterly basis
- Preparation and gathering of information for claims audits.
- Follow-up on all invoice short payments, billing errors, and collection issues. Communicate issues to Program Leadership teams and Director of Revenue.
- Manage and Maintain Room and Bords contracts, billing and history
- Assist with yearly financial audit requests.

Work week is Monday through Friday 8: am to 4:00 pm. One (1) hour lunch. Position will incur additional hours may or may not include weekend work.
