Summary/Objective
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing equipment deficiencies to maximize equipment efficiency, equipment reliability and overall equipment effectiveness. This role also assures that production quality is met utilizing continuous improvement techniques. This position is also responsible for executing cutting edge reliability strategies to ensure efficient operation of the site.

- Assures specific quality guidelines are met and, if necessary, takes appropriate actions and measures to rectify quality issues.
- Maintains a safe and clean work area.
- Troubleshoots complex, heavily interconnected production lines.
- Maximizes reliability of equipment by making and suggesting improvements.
- Performs scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Manages multiple priorities and consistently meets deadlines with expected results.
- Provides a "Customer Service" attitude that has a high focus on sense of urgency when interacting with internal customers while accomplishing work, production and quality standards.
- Maintains high standards of cleanliness, neatness and safety.
- Documents work processes and standard operating procedures.
- Completes enhancement projects or completely new projects for production safety, capability or capacity.
- Communicates accurately, fully, and professionally with customers regarding priorities, repair steps taken, parts ordered, and estimated time until completion.
- Participates in daily shift meetings and prioritizes maintenance work.
- Follows all guidelines set forth in our 5s training.
- Other duties and responsibilities can be assigned based on company needs and skills level.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full time position. The role operates on a production schedule Monday through Friday. As production demands it, this role will be required to work overtime hours including weekend.

Required Education and Experience
- Associate Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience
- Microsoft Office Suite experience
- Possess decision-making and problem-solving abilities to select among alternative courses of actions
Preferred Education and Experience
- Fanuc Operation and Programming
- Kuka Robot Programming (KRC2/KRC4)
- CAQ and SAP experience
- Must have the ability to coordinate several activities simultaneously
- Knowledge of electrical frequency and servo drive systems
- Knowledge of the metric system and metric/European standard machine components.
- Basic knowledge of Siemens and Beckhoff control systems.
