Job Description:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Practice Manager to join our team and ensure the daily operations of our clinics run smoothly. Our ideal candidate will be experienced in managing teams, an interest in mental health, excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, and a passion for contributing to the growth and success of our alternative and innovative practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management
- Oversee the daily operations of the clinics, ensuring smooth workflow and optimal patient care
- Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage
- Manage inventory, ensuring efficient utilization of resources
- Implement and enforce clinic policies and procedures to keep clinics safe and organized
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Anticipate and prepare for clinic needs
Patient Experience
- Support a patient-focused environment by ensuring excellent customer service and that team provides 5/5 customer interactions
- Ensure clinics are clean, organized, and represent the Avesta brand well
Payment & Cost Management
- Manage expenses with most cost effective suppliers and terms
- Daily reconcile end-of-day payments to bank account amounts
Staff Development
- Foster an encouraging, constructive, and collaborative work environment that enhances patient care and ensures employee fulfillment
- Resolve conflicts and manage medical assistants’ performance
- Report performance evaluations regularly and provide constructive feedback to team members
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure Avesta’s compliance with any applicable laws and regulations, including HIPAA and other privacy requirements
Qualifications:
Preference for a Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, psychology, business management, or a related field.
Need a minimum of 2 years experience in managing teams, preference for candidates with experience in mental health or outpatient clinic settings. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Able to drive between clinics located in Northern Virginia, Maryland and D.C.
Detail oriented with strong organizational abilities. Can identify and implement missing processes.
Flexible, “can do'' attitude. Proactive, self-motivated, and good at multi-tasking. No task is too small!
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $52,000.00 per year
