- Perform maintenance and repair tasks on boats
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Conduct routine inspections to identify any potential issues or areas of concern
- Install, repair, or replace parts and components as needed
- Use precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy in repairs and installations
- Conduct testing and calibration of equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Marine Technician or similar role
- Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of marine systems and components
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients
