Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the well-being of our patients. Duties:
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on patients
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Assist in medical procedures and surgeries as needed
- Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records
- Adhere to infection control protocols and ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
Skills:
- Proficient in basic life support (BLS) techniques
- Knowledge of medical equipment such as Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and neonatal ventilators
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner and Athenahealth
- Experience working in various medical specialties, including medical offices, ICU, ophthalmology, or with individuals with developmental disabilities
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of [LOCATION]
