Software Engineer – Building Automation Systems

Responsibilities
Work at our customer locations across the New York Metropolitan area:
- Programming and configuring Building Automation Systems in proprietary object-oriented programming languages.
- Designing user interfaces for Building Automation Systems to effectively communicate system status and feedback to the end user.
- Installation, configuration and maintenance of video management and card access systems.
- Troubleshooting and fixing issues for existing customer systems.
Requirements
- 2 years prior BMS programming experience required
- Knowledge of Schneider Electric, Distech or Tridium preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Science, Computer Systems Networking, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, similar engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- Past IT experience where you acquired troubleshooting skills, attention to detail and customer relations
- Proficient with TCP/IP networks, Windows 10 and Windows Server platforms setup and maintenance
- Vehicle and clean license a plus.
