Daily duties:
This position requires MINIMUM of 5 years experience as a set-up machinist. Must have good skills in manual machining also. The Set-up man is responsible to assist the Department Lead in setting up the department machines by using set-up history (strong set-up skills required in building custom fixtures etc.), programs, shop travelers and blueprints. He or she is required to check their first article to the blue print or work instructions and submit their First Article to Inspection. They will also be held responsible to inform the Machine Operators how to check his or her part and communicate any possible issues that may arise.

Machines: Okuma CNC Lathes with live tooling and barfeeder, Okuma OSP-5020L AND OSP-P200L-R , FADAL VMC Mills some with 4th axis, HAAS CNC Mill
Controls: Fadal CNC-88, HAAS
Basic measurement instruments needed:
Micrometer 0-3", Caliper 0-6", Depth Mic 0-3" Blade Mic
Minimum qualifications for the position: Ability to speak, write, and communicate orally in English.
High School Diploma, 10 years experience minimum
