We are a family oriented practice. Our team is growing and we’re looking for an awesome Treatment Coordinator/Patient Relations team member to grow with us! This position is 35-40 hours/week for Full-time and Customized Hours for Part-time, Monday through Friday.

YOU WILL STAND OUT FROM THE CROWD IF YOU:· Have a joyful and positive attitude.· Possess previous dental experience and know how to use dental software (we use Dentrix and Weave).· Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to callers
- Verify patient insurance coverage and collect necessary information for billing purposes
- Maintain patient records and update information as needed
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate patient referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
-Responsible for treatment presentation and follow up for all patients.
-Creating financial arrangements for any treatment scheduled.
· Monitoring case acceptance for the practice and evaluating systems on a regular basis for ways to improve the overall process.
· Answering phones, always addressing patients with professionalism and friendliness.· Insurance awareness.
· Sense of urgency.· Fast learner with the ability to make quick, yet sound decisions.
· A “roll-up-your-sleeves mentality” and a “do-whatever-it-takes attitude”.
· Greet and check in patients.
· Responsible for the practice’s continuing care recall system.
· Confirm all hygiene and restorative appointments.
· Reception area management.
·Collecting over the counter.
· Review hygiene appointments for the next business day and make sure all services are properly attached (x-rays, fluoride, etc.).
· Review all patients on the schedule for the following day and identify any treatment not scheduled.
· Insurance verification: All new patients and existing patients as needed.

Experience:
- Dental office: 2 years (Required)

- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in using office software systems such as Dentrix, Weave, Vyne or similar platforms
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
- Familiarity with emergency response protocols in case of medical/dental emergencies
