Job Description:
This position reports to the CEO and interfaces with company managers, and insurance and banking partners. Primary responsibilities are to assist in procuring and maintaining financing for our high-net-worth clients who choose to purchase large cash value life insurance policies and finance premiums. Includes identifying and gathering loan underwriting information, production of projected loan and insurance data for lenders, clients and carriers. The ongoing development, maintenance, and circulation of case performance reports/tracking for use with management and clients.

Specific responsibilities:
Include but are not limited to the following:
- Become familiar with offerings from lending partners and be able to model and articulate nuances to internal and external clients.
- Become familiar with insurance product features and benefits and articulate nuances to internal and external clients.
- Prepare case submittals to lenders for new business loans and loan refinance.
- Become familiar with trust/policyowner organization structures and how they relate to the overall case design.
- Design and maintain database of policy/loan activity for use in management and client reports.
- Supervise and train Assistant Director of Financing and other financing personnel with case submittals to lenders as needed
- Prepare materials for and attend client proposal/review calls as needed.
- Coordinate with case managers on materials needed for conference calls.
- Learn and use proprietary Nova software to provide case projections for new clients and reviews for existing clients.
- Populate/manage database with case records that include:
- Record premium payment activity.
- Obtain lowpoint carrier letters and CSV statements from carriers for submission to lenders.
- Preparation and circulation of insurance application and financing forms as needed.
- Procure loan data from banking partners and log information into database.
- Procure policy data from insurance partners and log information into database.
- Periodic and ad hoc requests for case review presentation materials for advisors/client.
Qualifications:
- College degree preferred in Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or relevant work experience.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint or similar.
- Experience with database program Airtable or similar helpful.
- Knowledge of cash value life insurance products helpful.
- Experience or familiarity with insurance premium financing preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with commercial or personal lending preferred.
