Position Overview: We are seeking an innovative and dynamic Robotics Instructor with a passion for taking robotics education to the next level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in robotics and a proven track record of pushing the boundaries of traditional robotics education to inspire students to explore advanced concepts and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive robotics curriculum that goes beyond the basics and challenges students to explore advanced concepts and technologies.
- Design and deliver hands-on workshops and projects that integrate cutting-edge robotics platforms and tools, such as ROS (Robot Operating System), AI (Artificial Intelligence), machine learning, and computer vision.
- Mentor and guide students in conducting advanced robotics research and projects, fostering a culture of innovation and exploration.
- Collaborate with industry partners and experts to bring real-world applications and experiences into the classroom.
- Provide leadership and guidance to students participating in robotics competitions and challenges, ensuring they are well-prepared and equipped to excel.
- Stay at the forefront of robotics technology and education trends, continuously updating and refining the curriculum to reflect the latest advancements.
Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree or higher in robotics, engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in robotics education, with a focus on teaching advanced concepts and technologies to students of varying ages and skill levels.
- In-depth knowledge of advanced robotics platforms and tools, including ROS, AI, machine learning, computer vision, and other emerging technologies.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C/C++, and Java, with experience in developing robotics applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students to explore and innovate.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for pushing the boundaries of traditional robotics education.
- Previous classroom experience and proven ability to work with diverse student populations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $21.25 - $25.60 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- After school
- Evening shift
- Weekends as needed
