A global company in NYC is currently looking for a business analyst to join the corporate development department.
The role of the analyst will involve conducting desktop research assignments, as well as tasks such as drafting presentation materials, creating and working on spreadsheets, and taking meeting notes for the team. The analyst will also assist mid and senior-level team members.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Conduct market research analysis for new business opportunities and initiatives.

Assist in the analysis of business data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities.

Collaborating with various business divisions/stakeholders on special projects.

Assisting with quantitative, qualitative, and administrative aspects of Corporate Development team
-
Assisting with the development of regular and ad-hoc reporting for senior management and staff.

Interfacing with other internal departments, including administration, finance, compliance, and tax.

Attend both internal and external meetings where required and also take notes.
-
Other related duties and responsibilities as necessary and assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience
-
At least 1 – 3 years of work experience preferred

Bilingual in English and Japanese (including reading & writing)

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Good analytical and communication skills and a team player
