POSTION SUMARY
OBGYN Associates is seeking a reliable and professional Switchboard Operator to join our team. As a Switchboard Operator, you will be responsible for managing incoming calls, directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals, and providing general administrative support. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in data entry, and have a strong attention to detail.
RESPONSIBLITIES
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Take messages and relay them to the appropriate personnel
- Provide general administrative support such as filing, faxing, and data entry
- Maintain a clean and organized desk area
- Scheduling appointments
- Handle any inquiries or complaints in a professional and courteous manner
EXPEREINCE
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of clerical procedures and administrative tasks
