Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our hotel, ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
Duties
- Clean guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, and restocking amenities
- Maintain the cleanliness of public areas, such as lobbies, hallways, and stairwells
- Perform deep cleaning tasks, such as scrubbing floors, cleaning bathrooms, and dusting surfaces
- Use industrial cleaning equipment and chemicals to effectively clean hard-to-reach areas
- Utilize housekeeping management software to manage and prioritize tasks
- Collaborate with other housekeeping staff members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Provide exceptional hospitality to guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Adhere to our hotel's cleaning standards and policies to ensure a high level of quality and cleanliness
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is required
- Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is necessary
- Experience with housekeeping management software is an asset
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and protocols
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality standards
- Ability to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks for long periods
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a high level of energy and activity
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
