The SA will be responsible for providing logistical support to the sales department for national key accounts. Job Title: Sales Administrator I
Job Type: Full-time, hourly, non-exempt
Pay: Starting at $40,000 to $55,000 (Based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
The SA will provide sales operation support to key account managers and be primarily responsible for the following:
Order Processing-Process and enter sales orders.
- Manage product inventory and availability.
- Email with customers and/or Sales Representatives under the supervision of the Key Account Manager to verify all information is correct.
- Work closely with other departments to ensure products are delivered to customers accordingly.
- Receive and enter PO’s into SAP. Responsible for managing PO from start to finish to ensure that all details are met, and orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Check PO’s for accuracy in pricing, item #’s, UPC’s, etc.
- Accurately complete item set-up forms.
- Generates and manages open orders and request revisions accordingly.
Project Management
- Assist the Account Manager with new projects.
- Develop an understanding of customer compliance and routing guides.
- Create item setups with product information for customers to submit orders.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure project completion.
- Coordinate and track shipments.
- Provides clear and accurate information across all departments.
- Provides clear and concise information to customers.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets consisting of detailed production information.
- Coordinate and track shipments.
- Accurately checks inventory and maintains customer demand forecasts in SAP.
- Generate general sales reports.
Meeting/Tradeshow Preparation
- Generate sales reports and gather product samples.
- Organize and ship product samples for post meeting follow up.
- Set up conference room depending on meeting needs including assisting in customer meeting preparation, taking clear and concise notes during meetings, and clean up.
- Works with Sales Managers and Account Managers to create sales decks for customer presentations.
- Assist with analyzing meeting notes to determine next steps.
Additional Duties
- Develop a strong knowledge of the company’s products and its features
- Assist with completing customer paperwork and keeping customer information up to date.
- File account contracts and documents.
- Light phone duty.
General Responsibilities:
- Processing and entering sales orders
- Completing spreadsheets consisting of detailed production information
- Reading and ensuring compliance with vendor manuals for specific accounts
- Compiling sales data and generating reports
- Coordinating and tracking shipments
- Communicating with customers and/or sales reps under the supervision of the Lead Sales Admin and/or Account Manager(s)
- Other duties as assigned by management
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent people skills and friendly personality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and facility with computers overall
- Strong work ethic and team player
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-centric environment.
- Highly organized with ability to keep track of own schedule and deliverables
Education and Experience:
- 4-year degree from accredited college/university preferred
- 1-3 years of mass market channel experience
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing
