The Machine/lathe operator is responsible for general labour in the plant, including the use of a lathe to remove old rubber and finish rolls to customer specifications.

- Prepare materials and lathe for use
- Operate lathe
- Maintenance of lathe
- Assist in general shop duties
- Other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications:
· Self-motivated
· Knowledge and safe use of overhead crane is an asset
· Experienced working in an industrial facility
· Knowledgeable of health and safety legislation and safe work practices
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand & walk continuously for 4 hours at a time
· Ability to operate a forklift
· Ability to lift/push up to 50 lbs.
Special Working Conditions:
· Day shift with the occasional Saturday
· Flexibility to work overtime to meet production levels, as required
· Dusty environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
