Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will assist teachers in providing a positive learning environment for students.
Duties:
- Support teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
- Assist in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Help manage classroom behavior and provide individualized attention to students
- Work with students with autism and assist in behavior management
- Collaborate with educators in early childhood education programs
- Utilize effective communication skills to engage with students and staff
- Implement Montessori and literacy education techniques
Requirements:
- Experience in working with children or in educational settings
- Strong ability to educate and communicate effectively with students
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles
- Ability to support curriculum development and lesson planning
- Experience working with students with autism is a plus
