Job Summary
Guardian Angel Homes, an award-winning assisted living facility specializing in dementia and Alzheimer's care, is currently accepting applications for Full-time and Part-time Caregiver/Med-Tech positions.
Responsibilities and Duties
Providing holistically based wellness and care to elders. Assisting with medications, activities of daily living, and other delegated nursing cares. Thorough and detailed documentation of cares provided. Some housekeeping tasks. Individual resident engagement and activities. As well as any other tasks assigned by the Administrator, Assistant Administrator, or Nursing.
Qualifications and Skills
Must have a true love and passion for making a difference in the lives of the elderly, appreciate the holistic wellness approach, and enjoy caring for those who suffer from memory loss.
Mandatory drug screening and background check are required, and must provide references upon request.
Must possess, or be available to obtain within first 30 days of employment, a current medication assistance certificate from a state-recognized medication assistance program.
Prior experience (minimum 1 year) with passing medications preferred and caring for elders with an outstanding work history record.
