The Lead Technician is often the first company representative to engage a customer in their time of need. As a vital member of the leadership team, the Lead Technician is expected to set the standard of excellence for the Team and start the process of creating an outstanding customer experience.
Duties and responsibilities
- Assess various loss situations and determine necessary restoration services.
- Communicate with customers to explain services and secure service contracts.
- Capture 3D Geographical scan and photo documentation of site before any work begins, capture photos of work in progress and document all services performed.
- Organize team and begin mitigation services. Protect contents, flooring and other items in the work area. Manipulate / pack contents, extract water, detach salvageable building components, remove non-salvageable building materials, load debris for hauling. Maintain a clean and organized job site.
- Set up drying equipment per IICRC standards and create drying logs.
- Enter detailed notes and upload photos into Dash (job management software).
- Communicate job status and critical information back to the office.
- Monitor drying process, re-position drying equipment, and maintain drying logs through completion of the drying process. Maintain daily notes in Dash.
- Maintain clean and organized service vehicle and restoration equipment.
- Participate in on-call rotation to perform after-hours emergency service and be available to help during times of heavy workflow or for a large loss.

Physical requirements
- Must be comfortable working with power tools
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, and stairs
- Must be able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, or kneel for extended periods of time
- Must be able to position one-self to work in confined spaces such as attics and crawl-spaces
- Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move up to 60 pounds regularly
- Must be able to wear personal protective gear
- Must have good vision and hearing to identify and respond to dangerous situations
- Must be able to work in hot or cold environments

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
