KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Ability to comprehend / interpret Flight, Galley & Menu Specifications
Ability to be the final quality check on specs / finished product
Must be detail oriented, strong time management skills & be able to effectively multi-task
Must have strong communications skills & have the ability to effectively coordinate & meet the needs of the kitchen / getting flights out
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
· Quality checks on all assigned flights
· Add or subtract meals for assigned flights
· Add products / equipment needed to carts prior to departure
· Keep loading / dock areas organized & cleanly
· Assist with unloading of trucks & break down of equipment / garbage / recyclables as needed
· Any other tasks assigned as needed
QUALIFICATIONS; EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Excellent attendance must have open availability/ 24 hour operation 7 days a week.
· Must be team orientated with the ability to work under pressure
· Must have solid work ethics, follow instruction well, work well with little guidance, be able to work at a fast paced environment while maintaining quality & always practice safe work habits
· Must have a valid driver’s license with the ability to get a SIDA badge from the airport
· Ability to lift 25+ pounds frequently, 50+ pounds occasionally & 10+ pounds consistently. Ability to push / pull 75+ pounds frequently. Ability to bend, stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8 – 12 hours a day
