Sourcing Analyst I
The Sourcing Analyst job supports the Global Supplier Services (GSS) function including Sourcing, procurement and the Enterprise Vendor Management Office. Working with teammates in the GSS department as well as interacting with other business groups, this job works under direct supervision to assist in the analysis of processing deals to support contracts, supplier engagement, compliance, sourcing and procurement.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Works with assigned business owners to process the intake of deal requests and ensures the deals follow the GSS procedures from the start of the deal, risk reviews, contract execution, and manages the deal lifecycle.
- Handles administrative tasks relative to setting up new suppliers, including verifying that the supplier meets the company's standards, and tracking ongoing compliance requirements for licenses and approvals.
- Performs required recordkeeping, including maintaining approved vendor lists and researching and consolidating buyer/market profiles.
- Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data and information to help determine reasonable prices.
- Administers contracts in accordance with sourcing goals and acceptable service levels.
- Researches suppliers to ensure that the organization's standards of price, quality, timing, and reliability of supply are met.
- Maintains effective relationships with suppliers and contractors in accordance with the ethical code and standards of conduct, maintaining the highest level of professionalism.
- This role requires some in office working as a part of the company's hybrid work/flex program.
