Duties: Perform advanced development, support and implementation of complex systems using specialized domain knowledge and highly- developed business expertise. Leverage deep domain and functional knowledge of Transfer of Assets systems, as well as integration points and dependent applications (upstream/downstream). Ensure technology tradeoffs are effectively communicated to the business partners. Align with STS Standards and policies and partner with platform architects to engage STS Architectural Governance bodies for review and alignment with technology strategy for all new work efforts. Meet commitments for audit and compliance. Review exceptions quarterly. Contribute at cross track, large sized, multi-functional meetings and address them as the Technology lead. Be responsible for the quality delivery of a portion of the software backlog, end to end. Apply automated software test tools and frameworks as necessary to achieve quality standards. Identify technology risks early and establish mitigation plans. Leverage, practice and support Agile software development practices.

Salary: $159,650 to $246,800 per year
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer and Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or related field plus 5 years of related progressive, post-bachelor’s experience. Experience must include some experience in each of the following skills: Legacy Mainframe application development (COBOL, JCL, DB2, REXX, Easytrieve and Stored procedures; CICS webservices and designing Websphere MQ applications); Application modernization using Microfocus toolset supporting Microfocus COBOL, DB2 LUW, TWS in Windows and Linux environment; Batch optimization and performance tuning using tools like Compuware Strobe; Dev Ops CI/CD pipeline using GIT, Bitbucket for Build and Jenkins for Integration; Running automated software tests using Unix Shell scripts, Putty, Rexx Panel, Power BI, SOAPUI and frameworks suchas test-driven development and shift left testing; and Project Management Utilities, Sharepoint, and agile methodologies (Scrum (JIRA, ALM tool), Kanban, and Lean).
