Level 4 Telecom ISP Installer
Our growing organization is seeking a Level 4 Telecom CO Installer to provide competent, high quality installation and assembly of equipment in technical spaces, including but not limited to: data centers, mobile telephone switch centers, central office wire centers, and designated enterprise spaces. The ideal candidate must be able to complete all requirements of Level 4 installers and be experienced in following RBOC standards. This position is based in the Jacksonville, FL area, however the candidate will be required to very frequently travel throughout the US.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Installation of telecommunications equipment and associated infrastructure per RBOC standards at a Level 4 quality
- Experience in equipment rack installation, electrical/power systems, antenna systems and all aspects of installation within a Central Office
- BITS clock and GPS antenna system installation/configuration experience is a plus
- Experience following MOPs, network diagrams, equipment configuration schematics
- Experience preparing BOMs, performing site surveys, auditing for job dimensioning/quoting
- Great documentation skills, ability to follow: quality standards, high-security operating procedures and best industry practices
- Act as a customer contact. Interface with customers and local supervisors to clarify project status and coordinate work access
- Work well within a team, demonstrate attention to detail and great sense of responsibility
- Ability to trouble shoot issues as well as resolve problems
- Good written/oral communication skills, customer service skills and computer soft skills required
- Organized and adaptable to changing environments/traveling
- Able to work independently and with minimum supervision
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and QUALIFICATIONS
- Physically moving equipment and tools up to 50 lbs
- Cable trays and/or racking
- Data Equipment cabinets and frames
- Fuse Panels
- Physically routing the cables that supply AC and/or DC power or transmit data in various technical spaces
- Identify, label, and terminate cables that supply AC and/or DC power or transmit data
- Conduct test and document performance characteristics of hardware and software
- Resolve equipment / technical issues
- Review, analyze, and interpret MOPs, BOMs, work orders, drawings, records, and manuals
- Perform quality validation on in-process and completed work
- Interact with all members of the organization; Installation, Engineering and Project Management
- Performs other duties as requested by Manager

- Able and willing to travel (up to 70% of working hours) within in continental US with minimum exceptions.
- Able to perform night work/cutovers during maintenance window hours
- High school diploma or equivalent, technical or college degree preferred
- Five years of relevant experience
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook and open to learn new software tools
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 45 per week
