We are looking for a Full time Groundskeeper; (Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm)

BASIC FUNCTION:
To provide quality landscape/grounds maintenance services. Services should be performed in safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, Beaumont established policies and procedures, and as directed by the grounds Supervisor or Director to assure that a successful grounds maintenance program is always maintained.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for supervision of seasonal groundskeepers when assigned for a project. Turf maintenance (mowing, trimming, edging and renovations). Pruning, weeding and maintenance of planting and flower bed. Operate grounds equipment and vehicles safely and efficiently. Responsible for the performance and condition of grounds equipment. Report all equipment breakdowns and malefaction to the Grounds Supervisor as soon as possible. Apply horticultural chemicals to proper specifications. Participates in landscape construction projects. Perform snow removal and the application of deicers as required. Attend and participate at in-service educational classes and on the job, training programs workshops, seminars, etc. and directed. Follow all established safety procedures and precautions when performing duties.
EDUCATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
High School diploma or GED with continuing education credits or work-related experience required.
Background in grounds/landscaping field. Exposure to turf maintenance, Planting, pruning and landscape maintenance practices.
