Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in construction and home remodeling, with comprehensive knowledge in various trades, including plumbing, electrical, framing, painting, and tiling. The Lead Installer will work directly with the owner and take over key responsibilities, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership and Teamwork: Lead and mentor a team of 2-3 installers, working alongside them to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Project Management: Oversee the installation process for all remodeling projects, ensuring timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards are met.
- Customer Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their concerns, providing updates, and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Scheduling: Coordinate and manage project schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of projects.
- Material Procurement: Handle the procurement of materials, ensuring that all necessary supplies are available for each project.
- Quality Control: Perform quality checks at various stages of the installation process to ensure adherence to company standards and client expectations.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize extensive knowledge in plumbing, electrical, framing, painting, and tiling to solve problems and provide expert installation services.
- Reporting: Report directly to the owner, taking over responsibilities to allow the owner to focus on business growth and development.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
- Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.
- Comfortable working in various environmental conditions
- Dexterity and physical stamina to perform manual labor and operate power tools safely.
- Visual acuity to read blueprints, schematics, and perform detailed installations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in home remodeling.
- Strong project management abilities, including scheduling and material procurement.
- Extensive knowledge in plumbing, electrical, framing, painting, tiling, and other relevant trades.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, with a hands-on approach.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
