Summary of the Job:
Responsible and accountable for a group of patients during a designated time frame. Provides care to these patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members. Supervises the activities of Endoscopy Technicians and Scheduler.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate from a NLN accredited school of nursing. Current LA RN Licensure. Current LA RN Licensure, Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications through any International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation (ILCOR) provided courses such as but not limited to: Ochsner Health System, American Heart Association, and American Red Cross. The ILCOR course must include a manikin check off. ALS, PALS required on hire or obtained within 6 months. Endoscopy, critical care, emergency or strong medical-surgical nursing experience required.
Physical Demands:
Must possess good physical health. Some requirements include but are not limited to standing, sitting or walking for long periods of time. Lifting up to 99 pounds is required. Must be able to work with a moderate level of noise.

Pay: $28.00 - $40.00 per hour
