About This Role:
The company and its creator marketplace, Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented marketer to join its newly established Creator Marketing team as a Manager, reporting directly to the Sr. Director of Creator Marketing. The ideal candidate is a collaborative, solutions-oriented leader, who is equal parts a creative thinker, a data-driven strategist, and an expert project manager. You will work closely with business stakeholders to drive the company’s brand relevance to our growing creator community, which includes indie and traditionally published authors, narrators and voice actors, producers, and more. In addition to engaging our existing creator community, the Manager will also architect and lead projects that drive listener consideration for our creator content and amplify the company’s newest creator product launches and features to generate prospective user awareness and acquisition.
About You:
· You have impeccable project management skills, a successful track record of bringing complex initiatives to life, and a knack for simplification and optimization.
· You understand how to get different teams to work well together toward a singular vision or set of objectives and make decisions effectively.
· You are in-the-know with culture and the entertainment industry at large, with a passion for audio creators and/or social media.
· You are a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to zoom out of the day-to-day to protect the big picture; you can switch between the strategic level to the tactical level.
· You have a strong intuition, and the ability to connect the dots, are action-oriented, entrepreneurial, and adaptable, with innovative approaches and are results driven.
· You naturally connect and build strong relationships with others and have an ability to communicate clearly and persuasively.
· You are hungry to learn, grow, and operate within a team, taking on new responsibilities every day and able to balance simultaneous projects.
Responsibilities:
· Execute comprehensive creator marketing initiatives that strike a balance between global scalability and executional feasibility, ranging from large scale marketing campaigns, experiential activations, and creator milestone recognition programs.
· Manage the cross-functional campaign cycle from start to finish, from ideation and brief creation, to project management and debriefing as the project quarterback.
· Develop and manage mission critical documents (statuses, recaps, and timelines), track metrics against goals, and maintain record keeping of spend.
· Lead status calls and presentations internally and externally, including executive leadership; iterate strategic decks based on feedback until final delivery.
· Manage external vendor and agency partner relationships as the day-to-day liaison, acting as the “gatekeeper” to ensure communications are delivered to the right people at the right time.
· Spearhead in-depth competitor research and analyze creator data and engagement to mine insights for future strategic initiatives and brainstorming.
· Produce evergreen creator toolkits that add value to our community, working with social impact and creator relations teams to thoughtfully create and disseminate.
· Contribute to always-on social, editorial content creation and other creator marketing tasks (ex. blog posts, community management, and social media content) when needed.
Basic Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, PR, or relevant study.
· 4-7+ years of relevant marketing operations or project management experience.
· Business fluency in English, written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Exceptional oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with familiarity in presenting to large groups.
· Aptitude to adapt quickly and “build the plane as you’re flying” – our team is newer to the organization, and so being comfortable with a consistent level of ambiguity and maintaining an optimistic vision are key.
· Exemplary attention to detail, even with meticulous processes and tasks.
· A deep background of partnering with teams across the organization to achieve business results across multiple teams who may have different goals.
· Strong analytical and organizational skills with a proven ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
· Excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in project management tools and wiki building (ex. Airtable, Tableau, Contentful, etc.).
· Past experience of working in a B2B or creator-first environment or social media and experiential is a plus.
· Ability to work across time zones and marketplaces.
