Mid-size downtown law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to support Litigation Attorneys. Candidates should have experience in state and federal filings; document drafting and editing; handling and dealing with client contacts; and general administrative work. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years’ legal office experience, preferably in the Litigation field; type 55 wpm; and have knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Candidates should have superior technical, proofreading, spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills and be able to multi-task to meet deadlines. Strong organizational and communication skills are critical to the position, and individuals should be capable of working under pressure.
