ITC is seeking a Project Coordinator to be a member of our LESIS team supporting our customer at the
Department of Justice. This will provide day to day support to tribal agencies under DOJ’s Tribal Access Program for
National Crime Information (TAP).
Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) Law Enforcement Services and Information Sharing (LESIS) Section serves as the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Systems Agency (CSA) for hundreds of DOJ, as well as other Federal and Tribal public safety agencies and entities. It is responsible for establishing and administering an information technology security program across its User Agencies while providing the technical capabilities to access national crime information systems for authorized criminal and non-criminal justice purposes.

Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator will be supporting the Tribal Access Program project and its efforts supporting Law Enforcement and connecting with various Native American Tribes to complete the mission in support of the Department of Justice. The selected candidate for this position will be a part of an interdisciplinary team that provides technology, hardware, and software to Federally Recognized Indian Tribes to access Federal and State Criminal Information Systems for both criminal and non-criminal justice purposes. The ideal candidate will have strong background in project scheduling and strategizing as well as experience with contract management, invoicing, and project management knowledge. Must be highly organized with excellent analytical skills, experience in managing projects through completion, reducing redundancy, and the ability to learn new systems and technology.
Responsible for planning and managing all support for the project including monitoring workflow, progress reporting, and providing technical assistance to external users. Works with clients to understand the needs and develop recommended solutions. Interacts and communicates with Tribal end-users, management, vendors, and IT personnel. Typically reports to the Program Manager.

Support (and be prepared to facilitate) weekly vendor project meetings, Operations and Maintenance (O&M) meetings, and Project Meetings

Willing to perform administrative functions such as preparing agendas, meeting minutes, monitoring action items and deliverables

Track and analyze program documentation to ensure completion

Provide assistance, as needed, with coordination of logistics for kiosk deployments

Provide logistical support to kiosk deployment projects

Fosters relationships with vendors and external users and monitors requests through a shared inbox

Collect and evaluate metrics

Monitoring deliverables and schedule. Provide friendly, consistent, and persistent supervision on due dates and deliverables

Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree from an accredited university

Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance

Highly organized with ability to address multiple tasks in an efficient manner

Self-starter with ability to work with initial oversight but quickly moving to only requiring minimal oversight

Experience developing and maintaining project schedules; project planning & execution

Experience leading small teams (3-5 people)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Familiar with project management practices

Strong in MS Office suites, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote and SharePoint
Desired Qualifications:

Experience in Social Services, Child Protection, or Law Enforcement

Experience with Criminal Information databases (e.g. NCIC, III, NICS, NLETs)

Use of other automated management, reporting, and/or monitoring and tracking tools

Familiarity with FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) Security Policy

Possess an active security clearance

Experience working with Native American communities
