- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum for preschool children
- Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, and cognitive development through play-based activities
- Manage classroom behavior and ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with parents to support the child's individual needs and progress
- Maintain accurate records of each child's progress and development
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Strong knowledge of early childhood development principles and practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment
- Knowledge of curriculum development and implementation strategies
- Familiarity with literacy education and childhood development theories
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
