Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various medical settings and possess a passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor patient vital signs and symptoms, and report any changes to the medical team
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
Skills:
- Experience in family planning and hospice palliative medicine
- Proficiency in using Epic electronic health records system
- Ability to perform venipuncture and phlebotomize patients
- Familiarity with ICD-10 coding standards
- Previous experience in acute care or Level II Trauma Center preferred
- Knowledge of PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) practices
- Willingness to travel for assignments as needed
