Job Summary:
The benefits client representative position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and administering quality employee benefits plans by assisting in the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, flexible spending plan, retirement plans, etc.).
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Administer various employee benefits programs, such as group health, flexible spending accounts, dental and vision, accident and disability, life insurance, and wellness benefits.
· Assist with open enrollment preparation, administration, and implementation.
· Maintain carrier websites as it pertains to new hires and rehired employees.
· Conduct benefits orientations and explain benefits self-enrollment system.
· Maintain employee benefits filing systems and ensure benefits changes are entered appropriately in payroll system for payroll deduction.
· Assist employees with health, dental, life and other related benefit claims.
· Field benefits phone calls for new hires and customer service requests
· Assist with billing reconciliation as needed.
Required Skills/Abilities:
· Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PowerPoint; experience with HRIS and benefits databases.
· Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.
· Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
· Strong analytical skills.
· Excellent communication and organization skills.
Education and Experience:
· Basic Knowledge of Employee Benefit Programs and terminology.
· Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Customer Service Management, or a related field (preferred).
· Life and Health Insurance License (preferred)

Pay: $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
